Fried Goodness

Last night for dinner we had some fried squash and zucchini -- it was amazing! One of my favorite foods! We also fried some onion rings and had corn on the cob! It hit the spot and I have to give props to Keith because he did most of the work!

Just ignore all that grease on the napkins -- it's worth it!
I've got a pretty busy day - plus I have to leave early to take the little doodlebug to the vet! Should be fun!

That looks so good! Did you do anything special to it just cut it and batter it and fry it?

Nothing special -- we soak it in milk and an egg mixed together then batter it in flour and corn meal (mix those together - about 1/2 corn meal and 1/2 flour and some seasoning - we used Lawry's) and then fry it in a skillet. It's really easy and yummy!

Well we know that Coopie will more than likely have an accident, but lets just hope it's outside! All of that fried food looks like heaven! Is that some from your garden? Looks like yall had a very healthy dinner!

Coop will for sure have to go but I make him do it before we walk in now -- learned that the hard way! No, it's from the store -- I didn't plant any squash or zucchini. Real healthy! =)
