Growing Belly at 5.5 months.

With my buddy!
How far along? 22 weeks - today.
Total weight gain/loss: I haven't been weighing myself - I'm scared!
Stretch marks? not yet - I'm lathering it on!
Sleep: I'm getting some...
Best moment this week: Keith feeling him move.
Movement: He's particularly busy after dinner...
Food cravings: not really
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: thankfully none
Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss: skinny jeans with boots - just not sure I could pull off maternity skinny jeans!
What I am looking forward to: The end of next week -- lots going on at work!
Weekly Wisdom: Water is your friend -- drinking lots of water makes me feel so much better!
Milestones: The baby is around 11 inches and weighs around 1 lb. according to my weekly email updates.

I have a crazy question for you dog lovers...Do you think dogs know that you are pregnant? I'm not sure what I think. Cooper isn't the sharpest tool in the shed but he's been acting like he knows something is up. He always snuggles with me when we are laying on the couch watching tv but lately he wants to lay right by my belly instead of at my feet. It's weird...maybe it's in my head but wanted to see what you guys thought.

I don't think it's a crazy question at all. When I was pregnant with Emma, Zoe would come up and lay on my stomach as I got bigger but even before I was showing she'd come up and sniff my belly if I was sitting on the couch watching TV. Now this time with Brooks she hasn't even acknowledged. She probably knows what it means and is thinking great now I have 2 to mess with me. :) But I think they know something.

You look great by the way!

You look so cute! I really miss you guys! I think that dog can tell. I mean they know when you're upset or mad. I wonder if Coopie is jealous or if he is being protective? Maybe I'm just thinking about it too hard!! Sometime I just wish Hobbie could talk so I knew what he was thinking.

i definitely think they know something. just like i think they know when you are sick or have a terminal illness (baxter). When it comes to a sixth sense i think dogs are extremely intuitive.

even coopie knows something is up. talk to him. xoxo

Tiff, you look so beautiful! I look so forward to your Tuesday updates so I can see how big Baby J is getting!!! I agree with all, that yes, dogs can tell something is happening. Let me know when he is laying by your tummy and feels a little kick and don't know what to do...he better get used to that!I'm afraid none of us will be able to get close to Baby J cause Coopie will be toooo protecive!!!

Love you!!!!
