Memorial Day Weekend.

Here are some more pictures of our Memorial Day Weekend.

We've been spending a lot of time in our sun room. It is like being outside but in the AC at the same time -- best of both worlds. And we moved a TV out there too. Sawyer loves watching TV. I told Keith we are creating a monster! I know right now he is only watching because of the lights and movement but he will be breaking his neck to try and watch it. It is really funny.
My 2 guys!
I can.not. get enough of this little guy!
This is the grill master! He has been a grilling machine the last couple of weeks!
This is his new grill -- well, new to us. He actually got it off of Craigslist. All it needed was a little TLC.
He smoked a 7lb. brisket on Sunday. That was the smallest one the store had -- let's just say we are still eating brisket!
This is some squash from our garden. Our garden has grown so much! I'm going to put some pictures up of it!
Our feast! That is A LOT of food! Brisket, corn on the cob, onions and squash and grilled garlic bread (buns).
Sawyer is starting to play with toys (and his hands) and usually everything goes straight into his mouth.

I also made some banana pudding this weekend. I use my mother-in-law's recipe and it is delicious!

I also did some sewing. I have been wanting to make Sawyer some shorts ever since I read this tutorial. It was so easy - seriously, only took me about 30 minutes. Instead of using t-shirts, Keith had some old shorts that he no longer wears that I used instead and I obviously made shorts instead of pants. These will be perfect for daycare (since one outfit already didn't make it home with us)! I also used a pair of shorts he already had as a guide.
Finished products. I also had a couple of plain onesies on hand that I appliqued. And the seersucker shorts I made from material I had but following the same tutorial. Keith also asked me to take the "Polo" tag off of his old shorts and sew it on Sawyer's. Such a dork...but I did it and it's pretty cute!
And another shot of my baby...just because he is so darn precious!
