Glendale, here we come!

We finally have our NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP tickets in hand!

You would NOT believe the drama around the tickets...but after a few meltdowns, many phone conversations, involving a lawyer, and turning down a lot of money because all we wanted is to be at the game...we finally have our tickets!  I'm sure most of you are aware of the ticket drama that has been going on.  If not...just google BSC tickets.  It's a mess.

We fly out Saturday morning.  And will be spending 3 days in orange and blue, surrounded by fellow Auburn fans, tailgating half way across the country and cheering on our Tigers to a National Championship.  To say I'm excited is a huge understatement.  This trip is a bucket list item.

BUT, I'm also a little sad!  We decided in the 11th hour to not take Sawyer.  It was a really hard decision.  As much as I wanted him to be there and experience it and be a part of it...he's 10 months old.  I mean how much fun is he going to have.  Besides I would have been taking him to the game and it starts at his bedtime so I felt like that was a recipe for disaster.  And mostly the reasons for taking him were selfish.  I just didn't want to be away from him for 3 days.  Anytime I start thinking about being away from him for 3 days I get that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach.  This is the first time I've been away from him when anyone other than Keith has been keeping him.  My Dad and Kathy are driving from Birmingham to Tulsa as I type this to keep him.  Can you believe that?  Well, if you know them than you can!  But we are really grateful!  So, a little bit of mixed emotions.  But I know it's the right thing for him.  He is going to have lots of fun and get lots of attention!  And I'm pretty sure I'll survive.  And have some really cool stories about how I watched Auburn win a National Championship!

So jealous that you guys are going but so glad that you get to witness history being made! I'm sorry sorry about you not takign Saw man but I think you will all enjoy it more with him not going. Besides, he will be in amazing hands with your dad adn Kathy-so sweet for them to drive out to Tulsa, but honestly it's probably a win win for them-they get to hang out with little man and see you guys! Have a blast and take lots of pics!

Woo Hoo ~ it's finally a reality. It has been an extremely stressful week, but I'm excited beyond words! Saw will be able to tell people that his mom & dad (and BeLLa)were there.
