A few belly shots...

We aren't professionals photographers but Keith did a great job taking a couple of maternity shots for me.

35 weeks

How far along? 35 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I go to the Dr. today at 2:30 and we'll see if I'm on track with my hopeful 1 lb. per week...I'm thinking not.
Stretch marks? no
Sleep: it's been okay...could be better, could be worse.
Best moment this week: honestly, it hasn't been the greatest week...but the worst moment is actually a toss up between Cooper getting sprayed by a skunk (Monday night at 10pm), me scraping the side of my car against a brick pillar in our driveway (Tuesday morning), or opening a pair of shoes I ordered for Sawyer off of eBay from a "smoke free" home and having them reek of smoke (Tuesday afternoon)....But it could always be worse....
Movement: yes, but more rolls and controlled movement, less jabs and pokes.
Food cravings: Gatorade
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: nope
Belly Button in or out? out
What I miss: nothing at the moment...I actually really love being pregnant and I'm trying to enjoy every day because the end is near!
What I am looking forward to: my dr's appt - something so comforting about going and hearing his little heartbeat and having the dr. say everything looks great!
Weekly Wisdom: Marry a great guy -- it will come in handy when you are pregnant (and other times too!)
Milestones: my due date is 1 month from today!

Our weekend.

We had a nice weekend.  We went to the splash pad Saturday morning -- trying to beat this heat.

Sawyer wasn't too sure....

He started warming up with the help of daddy.

And as soon as daddy backed away this happened -- at the exact same time I was snapping.  Poor little guy.  He recovered pretty quick but we didn't last too long out there.

We did some cleaning.  Sawyer is obsessed with the Swiffer -- he's actually pretty good with it too.  Must get that from his daddy!

See that little head peaking over the couch...

It's because he's standing on this.

He's turned into quite the little climber.

We did a lot of just playing and hanging out.

It was a nice low key weekend!

34 Weeks

How far along? 34 weeks - I was a little slow getting this post up this week.  We took the pic Tuesday...
Total weight gain/loss: 30 lbs - I gained 37 total with Sawyer and am trending the same way now.  I have about 6 weeks left so I'm hoping to gain only a lb a week....but I'm not stressing too much!
Stretch marks? still none but I had a scare the other day  -- it was just lines from my pants being a little tight.  Ha!
Sleep: it's been pretty good -- I've been tired...
Best moment this week: just getting things done -- slowly marking things off the to-do list!
Movement: like crazy!
Food cravings: cold stuff!
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: nope
Belly Button in or out? out
What I miss: rain...I know that sounds weird (and not pregnancy related) but it is so hot and dry here.  Everything is dead (including our yard) except for the few flowers/garden that Keith waters.  I would love a good stormy day!
What I am looking forward to: the weekend.  Hoping to finish the nursery...we are thisclose.
Weekly Wisdom: I'm just still trying to enjoy it all.
Milestones: I've broken out the maternity shorts.  I'm not a fan of shorts and normally don't wear them...mostly dresses and some bermuda shorts.  But it is hot and I really don't care anymore how pale my legs are! =)

Daddy, the jungle gym!

Sawyer loves when Daddy lays down in the floor -- it is like his own personal jungle gym.  The other night he found it hilarious to climb on his back and then fall backwards.  I swear he is getting wilder by the day.  I'm afraid our hands are going to be really full in a few weeks!  I'm sure life will never be dull with 2 boys!

Falling backwards...

And then he did it again...

And again...

And again...

And again...

And again...
I love this picture -- I love how his mouth is wide open and I love how you can see the little shape his legs are starting to take.  He is losing some of the baby chub and getting little calf muscles.  He is getting so big.  Sigh!

So much fun!

Our growing garden!

Our garden is somehow surviving the heat.  It's doing really good -- with the exception of our big tomatoes.  We've only gotten 2 of those so far.  But a TON of squash, zucchini, cucumbers, peppers and cherry tomatoes.  I'm talking more than we know what to do with!  And the zucchini is on steroids -- it is some of the biggest zucchini I've ever seen.  And we've been trying out new recipes too.  And frozen some to enjoy later.

There is something so rewarding about being able to walk into your backyard for fresh veggies.

33 weeks

How far along? 33 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: we'll see tomorrow...
Stretch marks? no, and I really hope none pop up these last few weeks.
Sleep: okay, I guess.
Best moment this week: celebrating my birthday...
Movement: oh yeah!
Food cravings: nothing really...
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: nope
Belly Button in or out? umm, see the pic above
What I miss: being able to bend over comfortably
What I am looking forward to: Keith coming home...he's been out of town this week.
Weekly Wisdom: make lists to remember everything
Milestones: I've reached panic mode...  Time is going by at warp speed and I feel like I have so much to do....

Another year older...

I celebrated another year this past Saturday!  And it was a great birthday.  My Dad and Kathy took us to breakfast before they hit the road to head home.

Then that afternoon, the 3 of us headed to a nearby lake to hang out.

Keith rode the waverunner while Saw and I swam and hung out.

And we ended the night with pizza and birthday cake.

It was a great day and I know it's going to be a great year!

Popsy and Nonnie Visit

My Dad and Kathy were here visiting for a couple of days last week.  We really enjoyed having them and Sawyer loved playing with them!  Here are some pictures from the few days they were here!

Trying out the big boy swing!
