visiting family...

It's Friday and we love Fridays around here (who doesn't?!).  When you work and rush around all week you really cherish two days to just be together as a family.  So, every Friday morning (and only on Fridays) we do this little thing where we ask the boys "Guess what day it is?"  and Sawyer will say back all happy/excited "Friday!"  It's pretty cute.  Well, last week we kept telling him on Friday we were going on an airplane...on a trip to go see our family and then we would name everyone.  And one time when we asked him who we were going to see he said "lots of people".  Hilarious.  Well, this mornng I asked him what day it was and he shouted Friday and then said "go see lots of people".  It was cute/sweet/funny/a little heartbreaking all at the same time!

We were blessed with 5 days at home and got to spend precious time with all the people we love most.  I'm so thankful that as my boys are growing up and starting to remember that they will have sweet memories of visits back to Birmingham with their grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Here are some pictures of our trip home.

Hanging out in the airport.  Both boys did AWESOME traveling!  They were a little restless the 2nd leg coming home but nothing terrible.  Answered prayer!

Jackson Cousins...excuse the spaghetti faces on my boys.  We aren't afraid of getting messy while we eat!  And Sawyer is a car hoarder.

Bath time is way more fun with cousins.

And while it can be tough living away from family, it also makes the time we do spend together that much more special.  But, can I just say...there is NO place like home.

And I have to admit that when we do see the boys, I think they now remember who we are...and that is so heart warming!!! They are absolutely precious!! At one time Sawyer told me "too many people"...it was so cute!!! So many people want to see you guys when you are home...so many people love you and miss you!!

Much love to you all!!
