Graham || 20 months

Wow.  20 months and you are a MESS.  You have no fear, are stubborn and can throw a wicked fit.  You also are the best snuggler, have the cutest (mischievous) grin, and you are really smart.

You love to wrestle.  Your favorite thing to do is tackle/wrestle/rough house anyone you can - but especially your big brother.  And you guys usually do this every night.  You also love being outside.  You are so happy to just be outside playing in the dirt, on the swing set, or going for walks.  You are starting to really enjoy playing with choo choo's and cars.  And you LOVE reading books.

I haven't weighed you lately but I would guess you weight around 30 lbs and are around 34 inches tall.  You are wearing size 24 months/2T clothes and size 5 shoes.  Still in size 4 diapers but moving up to size 5 very soon.  You have 9 teeth now.  3 broke through this last month - including 2 molars.  And it looks like a few more are trying to poke through.

You are still a good eater...some meals better than others.  And you love your milk (and juice).  Some of your favorite foods include: bananas, spaghetti, pancakes, mac and cheese, hot dogs, carrots, peas, and cheese.  You constantly walk up the fridge and ask for cheese.  It's your favorite!

Sleep...well, it depends on the day.  You go down around 7:30-8:00 and sleep until 7:30-8:00 on weekends.  During the week we have to wake you at 7 for school.  You take 1 nap and it usually for 2-3 hours.  Most nights you sleep great, all through the night. Some nights are terrible.  The last couple  have been rough.  I think it's because you have a cold.  Between that and teething you just don't seem to be feeling (or sleeping) very good.

You are saying more and more words but still do a lot of grunting and pointing.  But you are very smart and can understand everything we say.

You've blessed our family in such a huge way.  I can't believe we are creeping up on 2.  It just doesn't seem possible.  But I can't hardly remember our lives before you.  Thank you, little brother,  for all the joy you bring us every single day.

I love you, my precious baby boy!

A few random pics of you at 20 months - including your "cheese" face!

Digging in the dirt.

I've been wanting to share these pictures all week but life just hasn't allowed.  The week took a turn for the worse on Tuesday when I left work early with a stomach bug.  It got really bad when Saw got the bug at 2am Wednesday morning {in my bed, practically on my face!}.  It was a rough 2 days.  And Keith was out of town so I was managing all this alone.  Graham had a little bit of an upset tummy last night but seems to have avoided the worst of it.  But he's got some drainage, coughing going on that isn't allowing for a lot of sleeping because it gets worse when he lays down.  Poor buddy!

So, we are looking forward to catching up on some rest this weekend.  And I'm looking forward to having dinner with some friends tomorrow night!!

We finally planted our garden last weekend.  I only snapped a few pictures because then I had to keep the boys from destroying the plants before they even got planted!

busy boys

We spent most of last weekend outside.  It was so nice.
I think Saw and Gra would live out there if we let them.

Keith did some yard work, which included cutting down a dead tree.

Gra pretty much stood there and watched the entire time.
Love his little belly!

Sawyer and I played catch.

He's really good.  And still figuring out which hand he prefers to throw with. ;)
I see some little league in our future.

What we're enjoying...

Just wanted to share some pictures from the last few weeks.  Lots of everyday moments but such a beautiful reminder of all the joy and beauty in the now.

This is my favorite tree.  It only flowers for a couple weeks and then all the leaves turn red.  But it is so beautiful during those weeks and smells wonderful.

Quick trip || NYC

 One of the reasons we timed my moms visit when we did is because Keith and I had a quick little trip to NYC planned.  I don't talk much about working or my job on this blog but I am blessed with a great job for a great company.  We have a contest every year and the best of the best are awarded with a trip and a few other perks.  I was fortunate enough to win this year -- so did my dad, who also works for the same company.  So an extra bonus!

This years trip was to NYC.  Trip was all paid for, along with some spending $ and a few other sweet surprises!  Most of the pictures below were taken with my phone -- it was just easier.

Friday morning we headed to our company headquarters in New Jersey and heard a very inspirational speech by Jim Abbott and from the senior leaders in our company.

The below pics were taken with my dslr when we did a little walking around Friday afternoon.

First stop we made in the big city -- we had to pick the boys up a souvenir.
 Not that they needed any more toys! ;)

One of the highlights was getting to see one of my best friends and my college roomie, Ashley.  I haven't seen Ashley in over 2 years.  Crazy how busy life gets.  But we just picked right back up - we're awesome like that. ;)  And I also got to spend some time with Paige (pics below), who I've known since like 1st grade -- she's one of my oldest and dearest friends!  And seen me through some pretty bad haircuts. Ha. ;)

Formal night....being awarded.

We spent all day Saturday with Ash, Tony and Paige.  We met them for brunch and then walked to Ash's apartment and just hung out all day.  It was seriously one of the most fun days I've had in a long time! The pics below are of the view from Ash's apartment -- WHAT?!  Crazy nice!

We saw Jersey Boys Saturday night and it was SO good!  My company also had a few "Tiffany" gifts that we got to choose something from.  I went with the wallet.  SO nice!

It was a nice little trip.  We had a blast hanging out with my dad and Kathy and I felt honored to be a "champion"  for my company.  But the best part of any trip is coming home.  I was so happy to get back to my boys!  A big thanks to my mom for keeping them.  They had a blast too!
