Our July 4th

We had a wonderful 4th of July holiday.  Hands down, the best part was being woken up Thursday morning by my mom, my brother and Sarah.  They drove through the night Wednesday night to surprise me.  To say I was shocked was an understatement!! I have a big birthday tomorrow and they wanted to come help me do some early celebrating!  It really meant so, so much that they came out to visit!

Wednesday night we headed to see our towns fireworks.  They didn't start till 9:30, which is way past bedtime around here but the boys did great and loved watching the fireworks.  We took them in their jammies.

Thursday we just hung around all day with our visitors and it was pretty much perfect.  We did venture out for lunch and to buy some fireworks but spent most of the day playing in the back yard.

This is really the first year we've ever done fireworks with the boys and Saw loved them.  Graham couldn't make up his mind.

Uncle Jon Jon and Saw put on quite a show for us.

Graham decided that he preferred to watch from the sidelines.  I don't think BeLLa minded. ;)

We mostly stuck to sparklers, roman candles, tanks and smoke bombs.

It was a great day.  And we had the best weekend too.  Lots more pictures coming.
