Obviously I'm thankful for the precious sleeping angel but also for the special blanket covering him. My Momo has made each of my boys a blanket like this. They are so special to me (and them). I know so much love and time went into each stitch. They are truly beautiful and I'm so thankful they will have these forever.
My Momo finished it months ago and I've been wanting to get some pictures of Graham with his blanket. Well, after many failed attempts because the boy just won't sit still, I finally decided I'd have better luck with him sleeping. Ha. But there is nothing sweeter.
And I love that this picture includes our rocking chair. This chair is very special too. It was my great grandmother's. I'm pretty sure my Granddad was rocked in this chair as a baby. And both my babies have been rocked in this chair many of nights -- I still rock Graham every night.
It's no secret my boys love outside. And I love taking pictures of them, especially in their element. So we were all happy when it warmed up this past weekend and we were able to spend some time on our swing set. It's amazing to watch them grow and see them start being able to do things on their own. I'm so thankful for slow afternoons playing with these sweet boys!
We got a warm day last week and spent some time outside. Sawyer wanted to jump and jump and jump.
He's a few weeks shy of 3 years old. That thought puts a lump in my throat. But I know there is still so much good yet to come. And that makes my heart happy. Two has been such a good age for us. Yes, very trying at times because with two also came much more independence and defiance. But so much personality and hilarity. I remember the good.
I adore this kid. Kid, gulp.
I tell him everyday that I love him.
More than anything in the whole world.
And I mean it.
I tell him everyday that he is my favorite.
(I also tell Graham everyday that he is my favorite. A mama knows you can have more than 1 favorite. ;).
There is so much to say.
But the words are impossible.
So I just pray that he feels it -- deep in his soul.
That his mommy's love for him is unconditional.
That I am so honored and proud to call him mine.

Or should I say dear bubba, as this is what you are called 75% of the time, especially by Sawyer. You are 16 months old. And there is just something about you. I can just look at you and see your little grin and my heart soars. You are so full of life and just pure joy.
You love being outside - although we haven't gotten to be outside much lately because it's been so cold. But you will stand by the door and whine to go out. You crack us up with your dancing, which consist of you spinning in circles. Books are your favorite thing. You go pick them out and bring them to us and crawl in our lap so we can read together. You are also obsessed with dogs - Cooper and strangers...doesn't matter, you love them all.
You are great eater - some meals even eating more than your big brother. You aren't picky but some of your favorite foods include spaghetti, cinnamon rolls, carrots, pancakes, bananas, cheese and nilla wafers. You also LOVE your milk, are drinking it all day long.
You are a good sleeper (most nights). You go down around 7:30 and get up around 7:30am. But you are flexible so it changes some depending on what we have going on. You take 1 nap after lunch - for usually 2-3 hours. You let me rock you for a few minutes at night, sometimes you fall asleep and sometimes you don't but those few minutes of snuggling are some of the best minutes of my entire day.
You are wearing mostly size 18 month clothes. Size 4 shoes and size 4 diaper. You still only have 7 teeth. You are starting to say some words. Dat (that), milk, choo choo, bubba, dog, and uh-oh. You are 32 inches tall and weigh 24lbs and 10 oz. We had your 15 month check up this week (a little late) and got a healthy report. Praise the Lord!
You are so sweet. You give the best kisses. You are fearless and just a tad defiant. You know what no means but usually don't listen. You are also really tough -- guess that comes with the little brother territory. All I know is every ounce of you is pure preciousness and we are so blessed you are ours!
So, I'm finally getting all the pictures up from when my Mom and Bob came to visit. They got here late Christmas night and stayed a week. As usual, it flew by, but we had a blast! And have the pictures to prove it!
We did our Christmas with them and they also brought gifts from my sweet Granddad and Mary. They boys were spoiled for sure.
Saw's big present was this adorable little grill. He's been serving me hot dogs every day since.
And Graham got this motorized police motorcycle. So much fun. But really everything they both got this year they are both able to play with and enjoy (when they aren't fighting over it). Ha. We are really working on sharing this year. If Saw understood New Year's resolutions, I think that would be his. :)
They were even kind enough to help us take down our Christmas decorations. It was really cold so little brother had to watch from inside. Big brother kept coming and waving at him.
Bob also treated the boys to their first hockey game. They both loved it! We had a great time!!
His cuteness kills me. Seriously.
Saw was in heaven...he loved it.
He loved the french fries too. He gets that honest.
The boys also got their very own hockey sticks, pucks and a little Tulsa Oilers bags. They've been hitting playing with these ever since.

Sunday afternoon we did some crafting. We made some snowflakes. We made them to send to the Snowflakes for Sandy Hook Project (elementary school from the CT shooting) but once I went to mail them I saw the project was closed because they received so many. But it was the thought that counts, right?! And now I have some cute snowflakes in my house.
And then we said our goodbyes.
It was an awesome visit and we enjoyed having them so much. And hope they come back very soon!
