Sawyer || 3.5 years old

So, Saw was officially 3.5 on August 10th (I'm just a tad behind...).
And I wanted to write just a little about him.

If I'm being totally honest 3 has been hard for us.  Saw can be stubborn and sensitive and likes to do things on his own time.  All of these are good qualities and I don't want to squander them.  But learning to parent them in a positive way is sometimes challenging.

But there are just enough sweet, sweet moments sprinkled in to get me through the rough patches.  He is kind and loving and so smart.  There are times when I can literally see things clicking.  Where he is remembering more and understanding more.  And I'm hoping we turn the corner soon on the tantrums.

Most days, I still don't know what I'm doing.  And I'm thankful that Saw is my first baby and the one I'm figuring all this out with.  Bless him...and me (and Keith), ha.

Good day or bad day, every day being his momma is a joy!

First Auburn game....

So, other than Graham's party I pretty much took zero pictures during our recent trip to Birmingham.  Not good, I know, but sometimes I get so caught up in being and doing that I just forget.  But one of my fav little girls, Harper, was happy to play photographer.  She carried my camera around most of Saturday night while we watched the Auburn game at my Dad and Kathys.  And I'm so happy she did....she snapped all of the below pics (minus the ones she is in)!  She's got some skills! :)

And Auburn won....so it was an AUsome night!!!

Graham's mustache bash {2 years old}

I've been trying to get this post up all week.  Life has been extremely busy with work and traveling and planning and just everyday stuff.  But better late than never!

We went back to Birmingham over Labor Day weekend to celebrate with a party.  I've decided that as long as we live away from our family that we'll make trips home to celebrate the boys birthdays.

The theme for Graham's 2nd birthday party was mustaches.  And I loved it.  Was so much fun to plan.  And mustaches are in right now, so there was no problem finding lots of good stuff.

We had it at a little bounce place, which is also where we had Sawyer's 2nd birthday party.  All the kiddos loved it.

Here are some (okay, lots) pictures.

I loved planning this (and all) parties for my boys.  Keith teases me that I go too over the top.  But I actually love doing it and all the details.  We had so much fun celebrating our baby turning 2!!
