round here...

I should be napping but instead thought I would share some pictures and a little bit of what we've been up to.  MK is 3 weeks old today - time is flying and the days are full and the nights are long.    Sometimes I feel like we are nailing this parenting 3 gig and other times like we are drowning.  But it ebbs and flows and we are surviving and honestly doing okay.

I've been busy snuggling a baby.  And also planning Graham's 3rd birthday party.  We are headed to Alabama over Labor Day weekend and are planning a little birthday party for him.  We are excited for a few days to see family and friends.

BeLLa headed back home last weekend.  We loved having her spend a couple weeks with us!  And Gra also talked us into making his crib a toddler bed last weekend.  The kid doesn't really like to sleep and at some point in the middle of the night negotiated with Keith that he would sleep all night in his bed if he could have a big boy bed.  Well, we are delirious and sleep deprived and so we agreed and make the switch the following day.  It lasted 4 nights.  And last night at midnight it was turned back into a crib.  I'll spare you all the details but believe me when I say the kid doesn't like to sleep.  Add in a newborn waking every 3 hours or so to eat and pretty much no one is sleeping...except Sawyer.

We've tried all we can think of to improve our (Graham's) sleeping situation.  I think some tough love is in order.  Which is not my strong suit, but something has to give.  So, pray for us.  Ha.  He's just so different than Sawyer and we are still trying to figure out what works for Graham.

MK doesn't have a nursery.  Yet.  But in my head it is beautiful. ;)  But her bassinet is in our room and it is precious.  My mom made the bedding, like she did with both boys, and I wanted to share pictures.

These pictures are random and out of order but I'm too tired to worry about it.
Enjoy! :)
