The Fair

We headed to the fair Saturday and it didn't disappoint.  It's something we look forward to every year!  I love this time of year and doing fun family things like this.  And the boys are getting to an age where they really enjoy it.

We got there right when it opened and hit up the petting zoo first.  This is the only picture I have of Sawyer in the petting zoo because 2 seconds later he was done and wanted to go stand with daddy and sis.  In his defense, some of these animals are a little aggressive and bigger than he is!

Gra loved it though.  He's always a fan of a petting zoo!

More Sawyer's speed! ;)

He loved the pony ride!  Saw chose to ride the cable car instead of a pony.  Ha!

Then we headed over to kiddieland so they could do some rides.  This slide was their favorite and they chose to do it twice!

MK's first fair!

We had such a great time!

check ups

We headed to the doctor on Tuesday.  Gra and MK both had check up's, 3 years and 2 months respectively.  While I am so, so thankful for healthy babies that visit with all 3 and 2 getting shots, shaved a few years off my life! ;)

Gra had to get 1 shot because he was behind on one.  Overall, he did great!
His stats:
 Weight: 35 lbs 7 oz - 81%
Height: 37.8 inches - 50%
He's basically kept the same growth curve for 3 years.

MK did awesome too.  But I forgot how gut wrenching it is to watch you precious innocent baby get shots.  It was awful, but she was fine after I scooped her up and nursed her.
Her stats:
Weight: 12 lbs 11 oz  - 81%
(exactly one ounce less than her brothers were at 2 months)
Height: 22.2 inches - 40%
Head circumference: 15.5 - 85%

Funny how they've all pretty much followed the same curve.
Super high in weight and head (around 80%) and between 40-50% for height! ;)

And a few pictures of our crazy visit.

Saw was kicked back since he didn't have to do anything this visit.  Although he was pretty bummed that he didn't get to select anything from the treasure chest.  Said he would take a shot if he could pick a prize.  Silly kid!

Snuggles once we got home! :)

Miller Kate || 2 months

Dear Miller Kate,

You are now 2 months old.  It seems both like it's flown by and like you've always been here.  We are all still pretty obsessed with you and we are starting to fall into our new normal as a family of five!

You are a really good baby.  Although you do have a pretty brutal witching hour{s} every night usually between 5-9.  You just do not like to be put down during those hours.  But you are so content the rest of the time that we can't really complain.

You mostly nurse every 4 hours except for the evening (during those witching hours ;))and then you nurse about every 2 hours.  I usually put you to bed between 9-10pm.  And you usually go 5-6 hours during your first long stretch of sleep at night, which is awesome!! Most nights you fall back asleep pretty quickly after you nurse.  During the day you usually stay awake for an hour or so after you nurse and then you snooze for a while.  You take a great morning nap, usually in your swing, which you love!

We go to the doctor this afternoon for your 2 month checkup and your first round of shots.  I'm thinking you weigh around 12 lbs and are around 22 inches long.  You are wearing size 1 diapers and mostly 0-3 month clothes.  You are definitely a great eater!

You are starting to smile more and more and it is the most precious sight!  Not sure there is much better than gummy baby smiles!  We all try our hardest all the time to entice a smile out of you because it's so darn cute!  And you are starting to coo and "talk" to us a little bit.

We love you so much precious girl!  And we are so blessed you are ours!

Love,
Mommy

Here are some pictures of you at 2 months:

Summer List

It's cooling off (although this summer wasn't too bad compared to the last few) and summer is officially over.  I can say I'm ready.  Fall is my favorite time of year and always so much fun stuff going on.

But we had a special summer and made so many memories!  We checked most things off of our summer list and several we did multiple times.  Our favorite summer activity was shaved ice and we made weekly trips to our local shaved ice stand.  The Children's Museum was also a favorite.  And of course the best thing to happen in Summer 2014 was our sweet sis joining our family!

See you next year, summer!

Graham's 3rd birthday interview

I interview the boys every year on their birthday!
It's so funny to see what they will say and I know I will love having these to look back on!

And because Sawyer insisted I ask him question too! :)

Push present

My sweet husband gifted me with this beautiful bracelet after Miller Kate was born.  I could not love him, her or the bracelet more!  I'm such a lucky girl.
And big thanks to my buddy Ashley Kersh Romano who always hooks him (and me) up with the most beautiful jewelry.

My sister joked that this is the real reason I keep having babies! ;)

The pictures don't do it justice.  It's actually tough to photograph diamonds.
Bad problem to have, I know.  Haha!

back to school

The boys moved up to different classes 2 weeks ago to start the new school year.
Saw into 4K and Gra into 3K.

Sometimes it's hard to see all the changes as they grow.  But do a good side by side comparison and it becomes real obvious.  Watching them grow is bittersweet.  It makes my heart ache seeing them shed their baby-ness more and more everyday.  But ultimately I'm so thankful they are healthy and thriving.  Little boys are pretty much the best thing ever!
