We hit up the pumpkin patch last weekend and had a blast! The weather was so nice and it was a super fun, festive way to spend the afternoon. We picked a patch where you rode a real train out to the patch and there were also inflatables, a maze, hay ride and several other fun activities to do. The boys loved it! They talked about it for days afterwards!
I'm still laughing at this picture. They told us they would sound the train whistle when it was time to board to leave the patch. Well, my mom was taking a picture at the exact moment the whistle blew. Graham is not a fan of loud noises and his expression is hysterical. We have been laughing about this non stop! I love that it was captured!!
Love my babies!!
We are loving this time of year and all the fun activities the holidays bring!!
You are so much fun at 3 months. You are really starting to get the cutest personality! You are so smiley and are starting to laugh and coo. We just can't get enough of you!
You are a great baby! You are very content and aren't near as fussy as you used to be! You are still a great eater. You nurse every couple of hours. I'm way more relaxed about a schedule with you, basically just feeding on demand which ranges from every 1.5-4 hours. You stay awake for an hour or two after you eat and then you snooze. You take a couple of cat naps during the day and usually one really long nap - like 3 hours or so. You are sleeping so great at night, some nights even sleeping 8 or 9 hours. On the nights you wake up you nurse and go right back to sleep. You are still sleeping in the bassinet beside me.
You are moving into size 3-6 month clothes and wearing size 2 diapers. You weigh around 14.5 lbs and are 21 inches long. Healthy girl, for sure! Still no paci (I've given up at this point) but you are starting to suck on your hands some.
You still really like your swing and we've recently started sitting you in the bumbo some which you seem to like. I just got your activity mat out so you can start laying under it and playing.
You are the perfect little sister for us and we are crazy about you! We love you bunches!
Some pictures of you at 3 months:
Your biggest brother is OBSESSED with you and wanted to hold you for a picture! :)
These are just some everyday ordinary moments that to me aren't ordinary at all. These are the moments that our days are made of. And as they say, the days are long but the years are short. So true - so I've been trying to pick up my camera more to capture just the simple moments. Because I feel like they are all growing right before my eyes.
I look at Sawyer sometimes and just can't believe how big he is. 4.5 years sounds like a short time but he is a total big boy - only when he is sleeping do I catch a glimpse of him and think, there is my baby. Although he will always be my baby! And at barely 3 Graham goes back and forth. Some moments total big boy and some very much toddler like. He still loves to be carried and still needs me and some days that can be exhausting but I know the time is slipping away at rapid speed. And at 2.5 months MK no longer feels like a newborn. She has changed so much and has become very smiley and starting to laugh and coo. It's the best!
Here some pictures of our days: arts and crafts, snuggles, playing outside, puzzles, going for walks...
