Memorial Day Weekend

We headed to Atlanta for Memorial Day weekend.  We were excited to get away for a couple of days and to spend time with Uncle Jon Jon, Aunt Sarah and Cameron.  We had a great time.  We spent lots of time just hanging out and playing at their house.  We also hit up the arcade at Dave and Busters and went to Legoland, which we all loved!
Below are some pictures of our trip.  We can't wait to go back!

Miller Kate || 10 months

Dear Miller Kate,

You are 10 months old.  How is this even possible?!  I can hardly believe it.  But you are still the most content, happy little baby girl and we are so grateful you are ours.

You got another tooth this month so you have 3 total - 2 on bottom and one on top.  You still aren't crawling but you are getting closer and closer.  You are content to just sit and play with toys and watch your crazy brothers.  They are constantly bringing you toys and entertaining you.  You love to laugh and clap.  You love to swing and be outside.  You love your thumb and pop it in when you get tired.

You still nurse usually 4 times a day and are eating 3 meals and some snacks.  You are starting to eat more table foods.  Some of your favorites are bananas, sweet potatoes, peas and crackers.

You are still the BEST sleeper -- you sleep between 11-12 hours at night (usually go down by 7 and wake up around 6:30).  You take 2 naps a day - mid morning and afternoon.  I'm still sometimes amazed at how good of a sleeper you are.  Some nights you fall asleep nursing and some nights I lay you down awake after you finish nursing and you'll roll to your belly and go right to sleep.

I would guess you weigh around 20 lbs and are around 28 inches tall.  You are wearing size 12 and 18 months clothes and size 4 diapers.

Gosh, we love you so much and are so very glad you are ours!

Another school year over

Today is the last day of school.  It is amazing to see how much they've both grown and changed this year.  I never think that much until I compare pictures side by side.  We all love the boys school and they both learned so much this year!

Sawyer's biggest accomplishment this school year is he is pretty much reading.  He mastered his sight words and can sound out words.  It's amazing to watch it all start clicking in his brain.  He is so ready for Kindergarten, although I have mixed feelings.  His enthusiasm is contagious though.

Graham's biggest accomplishment is his writing.  It's like one day he just decided to do it and he's gotten so good at writing his name and the alphabet.

Watching them grow is bittersweet. But truly such a joy.
We are so very thankful for these boys!

And we are super excited about SUMMER!!

Miller Kate dedication & Mother's Day

I had the best Mother's Day.  I woke up to some sweet goodies from my crew and they made me feel so special and so loved.  The boys made me goodies at school but hid them when we got home Friday and were so excited to surprise me with them on Sunday.

This mother's day was also extra special because we dedicated Miller Kate back to the Lord.  God is so good and we are so unworthy but eternally grateful of the 3 precious gifts he has given us.  What a privilege to parent them.  We were surrounded by all of our family at church and we felt so loved  having everyone there to support us.  We then hosted a big lunch for everyone and it was such a treat!

Below are some pictures...

My mom and I made MK a bonnet for the special occasion.  I'm pretty much obsessed with bonnets!  And my mom is so talented!
