bubbles...

We've had lots and lots (and lots) of rain lately so every time the weather has been good we've been outside.  We busted out the bubbles the other day and we all loved it.  The boys loved blowing them so sissy could watch.

Auburn A-Day

Auburn's spring scrimmage was a couple weekends ago and we decided to take a family trip to the plains.  The boys are really getting into all things Auburn and love cheering for them and were so excited to go.  Like woke up at 7am and put their jerseys on excited, haha!  And it was MK's first trip to the plains.  Mom and I made her an adorable bonnet to wear and I'm obsessed -- she'll probably be wearing bonnets all the time now.

We had the best day.  We went to Tiger Walk, made it through 3/4's of the scrimmage, shopped and ate at my favorite restaurant in Auburn.  The weather was awesome and we just all had a great time.
We are really looking forward to the fall and finally living close enough to make some Auburn football games!

Miller Kate || 9 months

Dear Miller Kate,

You are now 9 months old.  9 months now I've had the honor and privilege to be your mommy.  9 months now that I've spent most every single day with you.  I didn't have this same opportunity with your brothers and it is not something I take for granted.

You are still pure joy.  So happy and content 99% of the time.  You only fuss when you are hungry and really tired.  I can't comment enough about how content and easy you are!

You are still a great eater.  You still nurse 4-5 times a day and are eating 3 meals of baby food.  Still mostly pureed foods but we are starting to give you some soft table foods and letting you feed yourself and you love that.  You are also starting to figure out how to drink some water from your sippy cup.

You are still a great sleeper!  You take two naps a day - morning and afternoon - usually between 1.5-2 hours each.  You typically go to bed between 6:30-7 and sleep till about 6am. I rock you to sleep most nights but just lay you down for your naps and you just roll over and go to sleep.  You prefer sleeping on your tummy and your side.

You are wearing size 4 diapers and mostly 12 month clothes. We had your 9 month check up and below are your stats:

Weight: 18 lbs 14 oz.
Height: 26.75 inches
HC: 17.75 inches

You aren't crawling or even going up on all fours, so I'm totally enjoying just being able to sit you down and you staying put.  You love to sit and play with toys and you still like to play in your walker and exercauser some too.  You love to be outside and swing. You have 2 bottom teeth.  You are jibber jabbering more and more but still only saying dada.  You love to clap and play patty cake. You love your brothers and they make you laugh the most.  You still love sucking your thumb.

We cannot get enough of you!  You are perfect! We all love you so, so much!

Some pictures of you at 9 months!

Sawyer's soccer season

We wrapped up Sawyer's first soccer season this past weekend.  We all loved it -- Sawyer had so much fun and was a really good sport.  And the rest of us had just as much fun watching him every week.  He was a really sweet player, not too aggressive but enough to score some goals each game.  He never complained when it wasn't his time to play and he listened really well as Keith coached him each week.

He did so great!! We are so proud of Sawyer!
