Collins || 6 months

Dear Collins,

You are now 6 months old and still the cutest, tiniest, sweet little baby in all the land.  You are so happy and give us the biggest gummiest smiles.  You constantly have several people in your face loving on you!

You are a little peanut!  At your 6 month check up (12/30) you weighed 14.14 lbs and were 25.5 inches long and hc was 16.5.  You are growing but are still on your same little petite scale!

You nurse/eat around every 4 hours.  At school you usually take around 6oz. in your bottles.  You are wearing size 3-6 month clothes but are starting to wear some 6-9 month things too.  You wear size 3 diapers.  You don't have any teeth yet but still drool (and spit up) like crazy!  We are about to start some baby food.

You are still a great sleeper!  You take two long naps a day, a short evening nap and usually go to bed between 8-9 and sleep until 6.  You wake up at 6 pretty consistently, which works great for our schedule.  You are still sleeping in the bassinet in our room.  You are basically touching both ends and will be moving to your crib and sharing a room with your sister very soon.  As soon as I finish your crib bedding and get over being sad about not having you sleep right beside me.

You can roll from back to belly and belly to back.  You still take a paci, you aren't super attached but you do like it to fall asleep.  But you will also suck your middle two fingers and be fine too.

You love to sit up and are getting better every day.  You do great in the bumbo, exercauser or highchair playing with toys.  You also like to lay on your play mat still.  We packed up the swing as you didn't care for it much anymore.  You are starting to jibber jabber and squeal.  you are pretty loud and have an extremely loud cry!  You have to be loud to be heard at our house, though.  Lots of noise all the time!

You are such a ray of sunshine and bring us all so much joy!  We are so thankful for you and love you beyond words!
