We are all so excited to meet you. My pregnancy with you have been such a blessing. While it's true I've had less time to sit around and relax because your brothers and sister keep me so busy, I've also savored every day. I know it is a gift.
A part of me will miss you being in my tummy, but, we can't wait for your arrival. To hold you and kiss you and see who you look like and all those fun things. I know you are going to be the perfect piece to our family!
I pray you always know how very special you are and how very much you are loved. I know our lives will be so much better having you in them.
Come quick, sweet girl! We are so excited to meet you!
I didn't do so great at documenting this pregnancy. I snapped some selfies in the bathroom at work of my belly but definitely wasn't a consistent weekly thing. Being pregnant is such a beautiful blessing so I grabbed the family and my camera and we snapped some pics the day before we became a family of 6. They are the most perfect pictures but they are real and us and I love them!
I have so many mixed emotions about you becoming a big sister and no longer being the baby. Although, you will always be my baby! But I know the Lord has big plans for you and those include you being a big sister and getting to walk through life with a best friend. And that makes me so happy.
You are such a joy and your new sister will be so blessed by you. I know you will love her fiercely as you do all of us. I know you will help guide her and teach her things and be a little momma to her. I know you will shine as a big sister. As you will in everything you do for the rest of your life because you are just that special. You, your brothers and your new baby sister are everything I've ever prayed for. God is so, so good!
You, my darling daughter, are a dream come true. We are all so lucky you are ours. I love you more than you will ever, ever know.
It's time to welcome our new baby sister. You guys have been so sweet and so excited about her. You are old enough now to fully realize what is happening and that's been really fun. You guys love to feel her move in my belly and ask questions about her all the time. I'm so excited to watch you guys love on your newest little sister. You both adore MK and take such awesome care of her and I know you'll do the same for this baby girl. She is so lucky to have you both protecting her!
Sawyer, at 6 years old, you are smart, thoughtful, athletic, competitive, and a little bit quiet. You were definitely made to be the oldest and you lead your siblings so well. It's a big responsibility to be the example and I'm so glad it's you leading the way. I'm so thankful you are full of grace because we are figuring out this parenting gig with you. And it's not always easy but you are always quick to forgive and you never take things too personal and I'm grateful for that. I think you are so awesome and will always be your biggest fan!
Graham, at almost 5, you are loving, funny, kind and smart. You bring so much life and fun into our family. You are silly and always making us laugh. You fit right in playing baseball with Sawyer or having a tea party with Miller Kate. You have the ability to adapt and draw people into to you. You are so special and such a perfect little and big brother. I know you are going to adore your new baby sister as you are probably the most excited. You've asked the most questions and are always wanting to feel her move, etc. It's been so, so sweet and will be one of my favorite memories from this pregnancy. I think you are so awesome and will always be your biggest fan!
Siblings are such a gift and I'm so thankful for the 4 of you. I pray we are raising you guys to recognize the gift you have in each other and a loyalty and love between you 4 that is like none other.
Our first official All Star season is in the books. I have to admit I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I was very hesitant about signing up because of all we have going on and knowing what a huge time commitment it is and how challenging it would be for our family. BUT Sawyer LOVES baseball and I knew it would be such a great experience for him. I am so glad we participated. He grew and learned so much as a player. It is honestly remarkable how good this group of kids is for only being 6 years old. They played in 3 different tournaments and won all 3! They went 18-2 for the All Star Season. Impressive, right?! I am so looking forward to continuing to watch Sawyer (and the other kiddies) grow and compete over the years.
